John first started developing his love for bourbon from the second he moved to Lexington to attend the University of Kentucky. After graduation, covered the Cats for ESPN Sports Radio 1300, local news in Lexington for Supertalk 96.1, and traveled the country with the Horse Racing Radio Network before his eventual career in IT. In 2016, he co-founded the Dads Drinking Bourbon podcast based out of Nashville, TN which focuses on whiskey tastings and interviews with people in the whiskey industry. He can most likely be found chasing around his 4 year old daughter while she tells him what to do.
